Huntsville, AL, August 24, 2021 – Cintel, Inc. has been awarded a Mobility Platform Prototyping contract in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, Indiana and a SeaPort-NXG contract with the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s Dahlgren Division in Virginia. These contract wins allow the Cintel, Inc. team to expand its footprint in solving complex challenges while supporting the warfighter. The Huntsville-based company provides innovative solutions for the Department of Defense, Government Civilian Agencies and Commercial Clients in Aviation and Missiles, Ground Vehicles and Systems, and Infrastructure Solutions.


Cintel Inc. won the Mobility Platform Prototyping contract on July 21, 2021. It is a Multiple Award contract with a total value of $74 million over five years. The company is one of fifteen contractors selected for the Base Award.


Under the Mobility Platform Prototyping contract, Cintel, Inc. will work with Torch Technologies and Roush Industries to develop prototypes for Department of Defense vehicles and mobility platforms. These include Ground Mobility Vehicles (GMV), Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles (MRAP), Light All-Terrain Vehicles (LTATV), Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTV), Non-Standard Commercial Vehicles (NSCV), trailers, and auxiliary power systems. Cintel, Inc. will also offer support for other systems that contribute to operational safety, logistics, maintenance, reliability, durability and effectiveness of service members.

Cintel, Inc. was also awarded the SeaPort-NXG contract on July 14, 2021. The company is one of 600 across the United States that will offer engineering and program management support for the SeaPort-Next Generation vehicle. SeaPort NxG is the Navy's electronic platform for acquiring support services in engineering, financial management, life cycle sustainment, integrated product support, and other functional areas. Cintel, Inc. will offer a full range of technical solutions to the Sea Services and assist across multiple engineering domains.

The Navy will receive an estimated $5 billion worth of services each year under SeaPort-NxG task orders. This multiple-award contract has a base period of two and a half years and an ordering period option of five years.
